Vision

The L!vesites vision is to help develop Newcastle as a culturally vibrant city. L!vesites undertakes place making activities & business activation in the development of a sustainable Creative Industry in Newcastle. The program delivers exciting events and activities which draw together people, artists and like minded organisations to the city of Newcastle’s great public spaces

Mission Statement

Our mission is to encourage people to think positively about the city of Newcastle by providing them with enjoyable and innovative cultural experiences. We will do this by programming, producing and promoting diverse cultural events that are often free, professionally run and accessible to wide audiences.

Our Goals

L!vesites aims to:

  • Contribute to the Creative Industry in Newcastle by developing a sustainable professional performance culture through the provision of employment opportunities for local artists and technicians.

  • Provide a range of activities and interests that will attract a broad spectrum of the community to the area and, that will grow and develop over ensuing years.

  • Add strategic and creative input and activities to Festivals and Events to increase their potential for tourism.

  • Provide flow-on benefits to business and community.

  • Provide positive visitor experiences for both locals and tourists.

  • Assist in ensuring areas are safe and friendly environments, i.e. activating the area will provide passive surveillance.

  • Reflect Newcastle’s unique features and burgeoning cultural talent, thereby, enhancing and developing the cultural life of the city.
